About Me
Allow me to introduce myself—I'm Madison Banaszek, an enthusiastic artist, educator, and lifelong learner, on a mission to inspire creativity and foster a love for art in others. Welcome to my teaching website, where I invite you to explore the wonderful world of art alongside me.
With a background in the craft industry and a BFA from Manhattanville College, I'm dedicated to sharing my passion for art with individuals of all ages and skill levels. After receiving my associate degree in fashion design from The Fashion Institute of Technology, I embarked on a creative journey that led me to various roles in the craft industry. From teaching craft workshops and coordinating events at CraftJam to working as an E-Commerce & Logistics Associate at The Neon Tea Party, I've had the privilege of connecting with amazingly creative individuals and expanding my knowledge of DIY crafts.
During the pandemic, I made the decision to go back to school to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and Visual Arts Education. This experience, coupled with my work in my school’s art galleries and studios, deepened my understanding of different art forms and fueled my passion for teaching.
Art has always been an intrinsic part of who I am. It's not a choice; it's a calling. I find joy and fulfillment in transforming everyday objects into art and expressing myself through various mediums. From knitting to exploring new crafts, I am constantly inspired to create and share my ideas with others.
Teaching art workshops has been a revelation, helping me realize my true passion for guiding others on their artistic journeys. As a certified visual arts educator in New York state, I am committed to empowering individuals of all skill levels to embrace their creativity and discover the transformative power of art.
Thank you for visiting my website, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to share my ideas, creations, and love for art with you. Let's embark on this artistic adventure together!
